Bicentenary of the Mexican Independence struggle for freedom in Mexico

Miguel Hidalgo led the fight for independence from Mexico, which lasted 11 years (1810-1821) in charge of courageous characters. 2010 Bicentennial of Freedom in Mexico After The Conquest of Aztec Empire (better known as Conquest of Mexico, the day on 13 August 1521 on the part of Hernan Cortes, the people aztec fell under the domain of the Spaniards.

So founded what was the New Spain. The spaniards took over the administration of the new State as well as the distribution of land between the inhabitants. Were created various social classes (called scheduled castes): spaniards (born in Spain and living in the new territory), creoles (sons of spanish born in The New Spain), mixed (sons of spaniards with indians), indians (native) and the blacks (which were slaves).

The first were the dominant class, with access to the best government posts, church and military as well as big business. Creoles were a class less privileged, were engaged mainly in trade, were priests or military lower-ranking. The mestizos (who had access to education) next to the Indians had very few opportunities for progress. Blacks were exploited brutally in the agricultural fields, in mines and other heavy work.
